We have had several lessons to help us get to know our way around our cameras so that our photography can improve. These photographs are from the lesson we had looking as exposure and altering the settings in the f-stop mode. The longer the lens is open the more blurred any movement in the image will become and the shorter the more sharp the image will be.




Long exposure is effective and commonly used for capturing the movement of light at night so it blurs while everything else is in focus:


While a short exposure would be used want to used to capture quick moving things in fine detail such as in sports:
