This week we were assigned to draw 40 designs for trousers using all the research we had gathered and knowledge of pattern cutting we had gained. We were also asked to draw whole 'looks' rather than just the trousers so you can imagine them in context in a coherent fashion collection. It was challenging to create so many different designs but I had good sources of inspiration to work from and a clear idea in my mind of the kind of look I wanted to create. The look is 1920s casual/sportswear silhouettes in modern, bright fabrics. Clothes for busy and active men who still want to look stylish and stand out.
